When we first took on our 100 acres it was barren and lifeless with only two trees on a creek that had been bulldozed into a drain. The soil was so bare the sheep would lug around big black clay soil boots on their hooves. The story of the land’s rejuvenation is unfolding, so I’m sure another heartfelt book is in the ethers on how we love this land back to life.
